Belgian Grand Prix: Lewis Hamilton Steers to a Win in Spa

30 August 2010 No Comment

Another win for Lewis in Belgium after an eventful race with many ups and downs.

With Vettel being awarded a drive through penalty after knocking in to Jenson Button and turfing him out of the race, left only Mark Webbers Red bull and Kubica as real contenders.

Lewis is now 31 points clear of Vettel and leads the points board after a measured but gritty performance in the tough conditions. If it rains for the rest of the season, you could do worse than put you money on Hamilton to take the F1 championship this year.

The race was made harder with interruptions from the safety car that twice reduced Hamiltons lead to zero, but he kept is head and pulled away from the pack on several occasions.
